4. Pricing and Payment

Prices listed on our website are in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

• Accepted Payment Methods: Bank Transfer and Cash on Delivery (COD).
• Payment must be completed before delivery for Bank Transfers.
• For Cash on Delivery, payment is made in full upon receipt of goods.

We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors before completing your order.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Our delivery services cover Kampala Metropolitan and other regions across Uganda. Delivery fees depend on product size and location:

• Standard Items (e.g., blenders, small appliances): Kampala: UGX 5,000–15,000 | Outside Kampala: UGX 15,000–30,000
• Large Items (e.g., TVs, refrigerators, cookers): Kampala: UGX 10,000–25,000 | Outside Kampala: UGX 20,000–35,000
• Store Pickup: Free of charge

Delivery times typically range from 1 to 3 business days within Kampala and 2 to 5 days outside Kampala. Final shipping fees are confirmed during checkout.

6. Returns and Refunds

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery for defective or incorrect items, provided they are in their original packaging and condition.

7. Warranty Policy

Most products sold by Urban Markets Uganda come with a warranty period ranging from 1 year to 5 years, depending on the manufacturer or product category.

Warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not apply to damage caused by misuse, accidents, or unauthorized repairs.

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the item in dispute.
